1. Call for help - if you are able you should contact the authorities as soon as possible  so that medical assistance can be dispatched. 2. Assess the situation and do whatever is necessary to protect your safety and the safety of any other individuals in the accident. Although we would prefer that the scene is recorded by photographs or other recording device, it is more important that you get to safety and out of the way of traffic. 3. Call your attorney. You will need to report the accident to your insurance company, however if possible you should contact your attorney, prior to speaking to any insurance company.
